Skelters

Description

The Skelters are a modern rock n' roll band. Their first steps were made in 1997 by Angel and Daniel, aged 15 and 11 at that time. In the beginning the band's name was The Crickets and they were formed as a tribute band to THE BEATLES. In 2001, four years later, they changed their name to THE SKELTERS, using the second component of a Beatles' song, named "Helter Skelter".

During the period from 1997 to 2003 the band's members changed several times with Angel and Daniel remaining the basic members of the band. The band, in its present form, consists of Angel, Daniel, Stavros and Teo who perform together for the last years.

Currently, the band gives live performances at many clubs in Hellas(Greece). Their songs are transmitted through the radio and they appear in several TV programmes as well.

The Skelters are the Best Beatles Tribute Band & the only Queen & U2 Tribute Band in Hellas(Greece).
Their music is actively influenced by: THE BEATLES, JOHN LENNON, PAUL McCARTNEY, GEORGE HARRISON, ELVIS PRESLEY, QUEEN, U2, BON JOVI, WHITESNAKE, AEROSMITH, LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE, GUNS N' ROSES, ROLLING STONES, BLACK SABBATH, PINK FLOYD, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, JIMI HENDRIX, LITTLE RICHARD, CHUCK BERRY, BOB DYLAN, SCORPIONS, DOORS, OASIS, DREAM THEATER.
